I am a retired management consultant who now lives for most of the year on my narrow boat (Cairo Giro).  I bought the boat in 2009 when I was based in Cairo finishing a 4 year project working with government departments in North Africa and the Middle East. Since my return to the UK in 2010 most of my time has been spent living on the boat and renovating it. What I am offering is an insight into living on a narrow boat as well as providing an enjoyable experience tailor made to each customer's particular needs.
